Meatballs with poppy seeds

The recipe, designed for you today, is one of many variations of a traditional dish and spread throughout the world: meatballs.

Tasty and easy to prepare, the secret of their success lies in the determination of the various ingredients.

My version is pretty close to that traditional, but well characterized by ’ adding different flavorings and poppy seeds, usually used in the production of bakery products, both sweet and savoury.

Ingredients (4 people)

  • 300 gr minced beef
  • 120 gr breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 gr breadcrumbs
  • 50 gr grated grana
  • 25 ml milk
  • 20 gr poppy seeds
  • 1 glass white wine
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 costa celery
  • 3 carrots
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • q. (b). e.v.o oil., flour, chopped chili, parsley, Laurel, Salt

Preparation

Prepare the mixture for meatballs, merging well with the hands the minced meat, eggs, the breadcrumbs, putting the crumb soaking in milk, Salt, grated Parmesan, poppy seeds (monitored by a small amount), chopped chili, half the onion and a half part of celery finely chopped, the medium clove garlic ’ d, parsley and Laurel ’.

After leaving the mixture to stand for at least 1 now in the refrigerator, with the palms of the hands shape the meatballs, about 20 gr. each, and it quickly on the flour mixed with poppy seeds held by.
